What are you going to do?

The goal of this program is to provide students with an immersive experience in the Spanish educational system.

Students will have the opportunity to learn about the Madrid region's private, public, and charter school systems. They will also learn about the English Bilingual Program implemented in the schools of the Region of Madrid and the challenges and opportunities it offers.

The program focuses on:

Learning about the Spanish education system and specifically about the schools in the region of Madrid.

Meet with education experts, institutions, and education organizations.

Visit different education institutions, including bilingual schools, inclusive and special education school

Enjoy the rich historical, artistic, and cultural traditions of Spain.

Madrid, the capital of Spain, is one of the most important, cosmopolitan, and dynamic cities in Europe. It is a pleasant city full of history and site of some of the most prestigious museums in Europe, such as the Prado, Thyssen, or Reina Sofia.

It is also a friendly city with excellent public transport and incredible parks for walking around, great shopping centers, and plenty of entertainment. It has an amazing gastronomic offer and ... it is the headquarters of Real Madrid.

Accommodation

Students will stay in a modern student residence in an excellent location in town. It is a new facility that offers excellent services and great open areas for outdoor sports and a swimming pool.

The rooms (double/single) are fully equipped with a bathroom and a small kitchen, wardrobes, and air conditioning.

The program includes full board (three meals a day) and offers a balanced Mediterranean diet. The cafeteria provides specific menus for people with dietary restrictions or special diets.

This program aims to provide a direct and practical academic and professional immersion experience. That is why it integrates different activities such as lectures, presentations, workshops, round tables, and visits to various educational centers and institutions.

The program explores different areas such as inclusive education, bilingualism, and special education. As part of the program, students will carry out workshops and activities with students from various centers to promote intercultural exchange.

In addition, they will discover the city's historical, artistic, and cultural richness.

All materials are available in Google Class, so you don't have to buy any books.

Cultural Program

As part of your experience in Madrid, students participate in a complete program of cultural activities, museum visits, guided tours of the city, concerts, theater plays, or shows.

Cultural visits include the Golden Triangle of Art which consists of the Prado Museum, the Thyssen-Bornemisza, or the Reina Sofia home to the famous Picasso´s Guernica.
Exploring famous royal sites, such as the Royal Palace, and the Royal Theater, while walking through the Plaza de Oriente.
Enjoy the walking tours through the ol Habsburg Madrid, Plaza Mayor, or Puerta del Sol.
Have a taste of Spanish gastronomy at the local markets of San Antonio or San Miguel.
